Theory and practical examination
Become a certified Technical Insulation Inspector and develop the knowledge and skills required to carry out independent inspections in accordance with international standards and project-specific requirements. During this 6-day course, you will learn how to assess insulation systems, identify non-conformities, interpret technical documentation and prepare professional inspection reports.
Target audience 
Inspectors whose certificate has expired or is due to expire soon, as well as those working in large-scale industrial environments.

The course covers topics including:
- Inspection methods and the inspector’s role and responsibilities
- Insulation materials, thermal conductivity and heat transfer
- Reading and interpreting P&IDs, isometric drawings and layout drawings
- Insulation systems, accessories, cladding and weather protection
- Installation procedures, heat tracing, surface preparation and quality control
- Coatings, corrosion under insulation (CUI) and corrosion protection methods
- International standards: CINI, NORSOK R-004, C-002 and M-501
- Safety, personal protective equipment (PPE), hazardous materials and waste handling
